We
are working on a project called The Web in May and are hoping you can
help us. The project takes its inspiration from Harriet Sergeant’s book
‘Among The Hoods’, and is exploring the idea of how we all live on the
same streets and yet have such different experiences of them. ‘Among
the Hoods’ is the story of Harriet, a journalist, developing a
relationship with some young people in South London, all of whom are
either in or on the periphery of gangs. We are working with four
directors, and one of them, Gbolahan Obisesan, would like to meet and
talk to a social worker, a prison officer, a probation officer and a
banker as part of his research. If you do any of these jobs and would
be interested in coming in to the Young Vic and being part of this
project, we would really love to hear from you. The dates that Gbolahan
would be able to meet people are the 12th and 13th of May.
