I would like to inform you that there will be a contemporary art exhibition in Kennington by two young artists (Katarina Rankovic and Takhmina Akhmedova) from 30th May - 6th June. It's admission free and suitable for all ages. Below is a description of the event, and please find attached some related images.
Artslav presents CUE; a quirky little number comprised of the work of artists Katarina Rankovic and Takhmina Akhmedova. Included are: 1930's Reinhardt jazz, a one-man cinema, mythological comic books, painting jams and improvised radio interviews with fictitious characters. The colour red, and the taste of red.
We would be grateful if you announced our exhibition on your blog. Also, feel free to come along to the opening on 30th May 7 - 11pm!Housed in what was once a Victorian public underground lavatory, the works embrace spontaneity and improvisation, against a theatrical backdrop of self-mythologisation, ceremony and carnival. Visitors are invited to grab a glass of wine, and join us in creating a temporary hub of unexpected merriment and joie-de-vivre.
Kind regards,
Katarina Rankovic
