Lambeth Archives finally finds new home with £10M move to the new Olive Morris House

... Over forty sites were considered. The outcome was the Council buying up property at 301-303 Kennington Lane. This was valued at the time at £3M. A Brixton Buzz Freedom of Information request asking how much the Council paid for the property was refused.

In 2018 the Council admitted that the Kennington Lane site was in a “poor state of repair.” ...

Lambeth is now looking at “other development opportunities” for Kennington Lane. ...
