All Sewn Up: LMHS awarded 2-year grant by Lloyds TSB Foundation

LMHS awarded 2-year grant by Lloyds TSB Foundation

LMHS is delighted to announce that a grant worth £20,000 has been awarded by the Lloyds TSB Foundation to fund the training project All Sewn Up to run a subsidised City & Guilds course for the next two years. The course – in design and craft, soft furnishing and curtain-making, will start in January and run until December for 2011 and 2012. There will be provision for 12 students to attend the class and criteria will need to be met in order to qualify for the sought after subsidised places.  Furthermore All Sewn Up will offer a full cost evening City & Guild class open to all.

All Sewn Up celebrates its 20th anniversary in December this year, so it is fitting news that we are once more able to offer these courses to those who would otherwise not benefit. If you would like to find out more about the criteria for applying please contact All Sewn Up on 020 7793 1110. And for updated information about courses go to www.lmhs.org.uk

FUNDING NEEDED:  Although the course is now funded, All Sewn Up desperately needs funds to buy a new computer for essential administrative work.  If you are able to donate a sum of any size towards this, please contact Imogen Aylen at LMHS, imogenaylen@hotmail.com
