The Art of Loving

A Talk By
Dr. Dean Whittington

Money can't buy you love and love may be all you need, but whilst the
culture industry promotes an ideal type, it remains a mirage for many.
Trapped in eternal solitude and isolation, connecting with flailing arms,
the desire to reach out becomes caught in various meshes. Erich Fromm's the
"Art of Loving" cuts through the swathe to reveal that giving and receiving
love is an "art" needing practice and refinement.

Dean Whittington PhD, Harley St. Psychotherapist and author of Beaten into
Violence and Bath of Steel will talk about the 21st Century modern malaise
of isolation in crowds and its impact on contemporary living. Then the way
forward can be discussed.

Talk: 50mins followed by "question and answer".

1.5 Hour CPD Certificates available.
