Transport bosses hope their South London expansion will reverse the Boris Bikes’ falling popularity

A CYCLE hire point has been installed outside Battersea Power Station – as transport bosses hope their South London expansion will reverse the Boris Bikes’ falling popularity.
About 60 new docking stations are expected to be launched across Battersea, Wandsworth and Putney before Christmas. They currently only extend as far south as Kennington and Vauxhall.  However, the extension comes at a time of declining popularity for London mayor Boris Johnson’s flagship transport project. http://www.slp.co.uk/news.cfm?id=38560&headline=Boris%20Push%20bike
