The Friends of Kennington Park have launched an appeal to restock the flower
beds along Kennington Park Road. The new plants that will provide colour and
interest all year round and make the park more attractive, interesting and
fragrant.
Planting has already taken place in a couple of the beds, thanks to support
from Lambeth council and private donations. But there are a lot of beds to
fill so we need your help.
We have managed to bring about great improvements in the park over the last
few years, all of them funded by applications to charities or grant making
organisations, such as The Big Lottery. Now we're asking local people to
help by making a donation.
