Re-development of Knight's Walk

Please,  if you can,  on Tues. 3 March,  come along to Pedlar's Acre  Hall,  1 Opal St. to express support for existing homes on Knight's Walk.

Be assured that we (existing residents) are "yimbies" - yes in my back yard,  just not on top of my house".  We have made positive suggestion to Lambeth Council about how to increase domestic housing density on our estate (although it isn't bad as at present).  We wish to save our homes and also to extend a welcome to additional people in need of affordable housing.

Please forward this to as many people as you can who might come along - five minutes will do - to sign a support petition and to let Lambeth know that this is important to a wide range of Londoners.

Tues. 3 March 5:45 - 8:00 p.m. Pedlar's Acre Hall,  1 Opal Street.  Presentation by LBC of their options (which all require the complete destruction of existing Knight's Walk properties).

Location:  5 minutes from Kennington tube station - cross Kennington Park Road,  turn right and walk apx. 40 m. to a "road" which leads to Pedlar's Acre Park.  Cross it and you come to the Hall.

Or come via Kennington Road, no. 3,  59,  159.  Get out at Kennington Lane,  walk towards E&C , pass a mini parade of shops opposite Cotton Gdns. towers and turn right into Opal St.  From the E&C,  head west along Kennington Lane and turn left just before the parade of shops and council housing office.
