Park Manager for Myatt’s Fields
S02: £29,958 rising in annual increments to £31,527 pro rata
• Permanent Part-time: 21 hours/wk

This exciting new post will give the right person the chance to manage a
newly renovated park which has had £3 million investment in new facilities.

This stage of the park’s renovation will finish early in 2009, but the story
won’t end there. We need someone who will keep the story going, developing
volunteer programmes so local people can find new ways to use and support
their park. We need someone who can help us involve local people in the
development of a new wildlife area, and other community programmes such as
the development of community fruit and vegetable growing.

As manager, you will therefore be responsible for looking after the park’s
infrastructure and the ground’s maintenance contract, as well as developing
new community horticulture programmes and projects.

You will be part of a partnership spanning London Borough of Lambeth and the
voluntary sector, breathing new life into a much-loved local park.
