BrouHaHa Alternative Comedy Club

RVT's popular comedy nights mixes top talent from the circuit with fresh-faces before they hit the big time!

Wed April 8th:

MC Cathy P
‘A rare and wonderful talent’ - The Scotsman
Matt Barnard
Matt is one of the funniest physical performers currently on the circuit, the only performer who can juggle whilst drinking a pint of beer perched on his head, unbelievable but true.
'Matt Barnard - 20 stone of dynamite with a two inch fuse'
Meryl O’Rourke
Over the past 13 years Meryl has gigged across the UK, Ireland, New York and Barcelona. With very funny material about her insecurities, rice, breasts and beards, she has delighted and disturbed comedy audiences, ladies nights and even hosted pop concerts (last one to 12,000 people!).
Catch her - if you can! -
www.stmrgts.com
'Fantastic' - Jonathan Ross
“Fabulous and edgy” - Tim Arthur, Time Out
'Meryl O'Rourke can find the disturbing side of everything!' - Eastmagazine

Wed April 29th

MC Cathy P
Pete Firman

This anarchic and gifted trickster has re-defined the rules of magic entertainment. Pete has taken magic, added a dash of comedy, and given it a shake of the surreal and turned the art form into a body-slicing, balloon-swallowing, fire-eating, mind-reading show stopping performance.
“The bastard son of Jackass and Paul Daniels" Metro
“If you are partial to a bit of magic with your comedy Firman is the best of the bunch” Evening Standard
“The audience is caught between guffawing laughter and amazed gasps” Guardian
“A gob-smackingly talented magician” Metro

Mary Bourke
An Irish award winning comic, Mary’s sharp tongue, razor wit and burning energy has made her a popular act on the circuit.
“Intelligent comedy that’s seriously funny…Ms Bourke combines natural charisma with some very well crafted Material.” The Irish World
“Catch her act before she becomes a (complete and utter) cult.” William Cook, The Guardian
