NEW DELHI: England skipper Paul Collingwood won the toss and decided to bat first against West Indies in the Group F Super 8 match at Kennington Oval, London.
West Indies captain Chris Gayle would love nothing more than to get the better of England as earlier this season England hammered the West Indies in both a Test and One-day series.
West Indies beat defending champions India by seven wickets in the second round Super Eights at Lord's late on Friday, only to lose by 20 runs to tournament favourites South Africa after the fixture schedule saw them playing in Saturday's early game across London at the Oval.
England: RS Bopara, LJ Wright, KP Pietersen, OA Shah, PD Collingwood (C), JS Foster (W), GP Swann, SCJ Broad, AU Rashid, RJ Sidebottom, JM Anderson
West Indies: CH Gayle (C), ADS Fletcher, RR Sarwan, S Chanderpaul, LMP Simmons, DJ Bravo, KA Pollard, D Ramdin (W), DJG Sammy, JE Taylor, SJ Benn
