Adams & Rea

Musical comedy duo Adams & Rea are known as the individually brilliant Sarah Adams and Leisa Rea. In 2003, Sarah Adams won the Funny Women Award for her character ‘Jade the Folk Singer’. She has performed her solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Leisa Rea is a comedy writer and performer, who has written for BBC TV and radio. She performs her own characters on the UK circuit, and is a regular guest musician for The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain.

Probably the funniest female musical duo since French and Saunders, if French and Saunders played musical instruments and sang really well. Time Out

For those long summer nights – the RVT Hot August Fringe! RVT: HOT AUGUST FRINGE -- a unique, exciting South London performance festival running from 27th July – 28th August at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. A riot of Stand-up and Sketch Comedy with Bands, Cabaret, Magic, Burlesque, alternative Theatre and Dance. The RVT: HOT AUGUST FRINGE will see up to four shows a night tread the boards at the Royal Vauxhall Tavern, forming a unique festival of 100 cutting-edge performances.

Royal Vauxhall Tavern (RVT), the pioneering alternative venue in South London, which launched Lily Savage and Amy Lamé’s Duckie.” (The Times), Performance Powerhouse (Out Magazine), Roundhouse of the South (Evening Standard), Shakespearean Bear Pit (Evening Standard) It is World famous pub-theatre that presented Paul O’Grady, Julian Clary, Diana Dorrs, Ken Livingstone and Graham Norton.
